Christian Radio Finder ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect and Use
Location Data
- What we collect: Your device's GPS location
- Why we collect it: To discover Christian radio stations near your current location
- When we collect it: Only when you actively use the app and grant location permission
- How we use it: Location data is used in real-time to search for nearby stations and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties
iCloud Data (Pro Users Only)
- What we sync: Your favorites list and hidden stations preferences
- Where it's stored: In your personal iCloud account
- Who can access it: Only you. We cannot access your iCloud data
- How to disable: Turn off iCloud sync in your device Settings or disable the Pro feature
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect analytics or usage tracking data
- We do not track which stations you listen to
- We do not store your location history
- We do not use advertising networks or trackers
- We do not collect personal information such as name, email, or phone number
Third-Party Services
Apple App Store
In-app purchases (including the Pro upgrade) are processed by Apple. We only receive purchase verification from Apple and do not have access to your payment information.
Radio Station Streams
When you stream audio, your device connects directly to the radio station's streaming server. We do not track or monitor your listening activity. Radio stations may collect their own data according to their privacy policies.
Permissions Required
- Location Services: Required for finding nearby stations (only while using the app)
- Audio Playback: Required for streaming radio stations
- iCloud (Optional): Required only if you purchase Pro and want to sync favorites across devices
- Notifications (Optional): Pro users can opt-in to receive alerts when stations change in their area
Data Security
Since we do not store user data on our servers, there is minimal risk of data breaches. The only data stored is in your personal iCloud account (if you're a Pro user), which is protected by Apple's security measures.
Children's Privacy
Christian Radio Finder does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information from any user.
Your Rights
- You can disable location access at any time in your device Settings (this will limit the app's functionality)
- You can disable iCloud sync in device Settings
- You can reset hidden stations and favorites by reinstalling the app
- Pro users can restore purchases on new devices using Apple's purchase restoration feature
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
